Sedra Academy is an online academy for teaching the Holy Quran and Tajweed through live one-on-one sessions, supervised by teachers who hold an Ijazah with a connected chain of transmission (sanad).
We offer flexible, high-quality learning for every age and level, with a focus on correct recitation, solid memorization and steady revision.

Yes. You choose the days and times that fit your schedule, morning or evening, and we match you with a teacher who is available then.
Are there programs for both children and adults?

Is there an assessment or progress follow-up?
Yes. Your level is assessed at the start, you follow a clear plan, and you receive periodic reports on your progress.
Can I try before subscribing?

Is it suitable for complete beginners?
Absolutely. The Foundations program starts from the letters and vowels and takes you step by step to reading the Quran correctly.
Can I learn memorization only, or recitation only?
Yes. Each program can be taken on its own: memorization, recitation and Tajweed, foundations, Ijazah or the Qira'at.
Do you have female teachers?
Yes. Sisters and girls can choose to learn with a female teacher.
